3. MSC Interfacing
The RF connection on the radio is a MMCX Jack with 50 Ohm CoAx. Any MMCX Plug should be compatible. The connection can be made directly from a cable end MMCX plug or from a PCB mounted MMCX plug. See below for dimensions.
A built-in RF load resistor is installed in the radio to dissipate the RF power if the MMCX is not engaged. This will prevent damage with no antenna, and the radio will not be damaged if operated. Remember that communications between modules will be compromised if no antenna is attached.
